Pipestone Quarry is now part of the Washington Companies.
Pipestone Quarry is located on a 64-acre site 20 miles east of Butte. It primarily produces railroad ballast, the crushed stone that forms a railroad's track bed. Crushed rock from the quarry could also be used for road construction or repair.
